We realize that you, as parents, are looking for a safe place for your child to be cared for in your absence. We hope that your choice of Preschool of the Arts will not only be for the safety of your child, but because we nurture and love them in your absence. Every staff member at PSA is there because they love children and want to encourage their growth socially and intellectually.
Children have great potential and our job is to encourage that potential by helping them to inquire, investigate, experiment, perform, and experience new things. At PSA we provide many more opportunities in the arts than children get in other places (sometimes even more than the public schools can offer). We present three concerts at each school yearly, many family nights, and walking field trips to community places such as the library, Post Office, and Senior Center. Our children learn to give by sharing canned goods at Thanksgiving with the local social service centers, participating in the St. Jude's Children's Hospital Trike-a-Thon, supporting the American Heart Association's Jump for Heart and giving Christmas gifts to Operation Christmas Child and to an orphanage in Florida called Hope Children's Home.
Our student body is a diverse one which allows us the opportunity to share about many different cultures with the children in our care. At holidays, we talk about the different traditions in our children's homes, and when we learn about different areas of the world, we often have guest speakers who can share about their experiences around the world.
