Children learn about the importance of giving back to the community through several "service projects". They participate in a trike-a-thon to benefit St. Jude's Hospital, they learn about healthy living as they raise money for the American Heart Association with the Jump-for-Heart program, and gather food and Christmas presents during the holidays for families in need. Preschool of the Arts is the proud sponsor of the Jeff Braun Children's Home Foundation which supports the establishment of an orphanage and school in Honduras in memory of a local soldier killed in Iraq. Children from PSA may also be found performing for the Senior Citizens of their communities at the nearby Senior Centers in Tolland and Ellington.
