Europe-Castles, Royalty & Knights

Children will explore many different aspects of castles, prin- cesses and knights during a brief tour of Europe! There will be opportunities for music and art from the Medieval and Renaissance period while building castles and exploring folklore around this theme . Field trip - Bakerwoods in Ashford

Week 2-July 6-9

Happy Birthday America

Explore many aspects of our nations culture through song, stories, and dance. Maybe a journey to the Wild, Wild West or a tour of the oceans of our eastern and western borders.

Week 3-July 12-16

Mexican Fiesta

Some of the adventures will include creating Mexican dishes for snack, exploring some of the dances and songs of the area and learning about some of the indigenous plants, animals and insects

Week 4-July 19-23

South America

Journey through the Brazilian Rain Forest and the mighty jungle where we will learn about animals and insects of both areas and learn music from the area. Field trip—Northwest Park in Windsor

Week 5-July 26-30

All Aboard For An African Safari

Explore the plains, mountains and customs of dif- ferent African cultures as well as the wide variety of
animals that roam the continent.


Week 6-August 2-6

We Are Going "Down Under, Mate" To Australia

We will learn about the variety of animals that are indigenous to Australia as well as some of the cus- toms of the aboriginal peoples. The campers will explore the Great Barrier Reef. Field Trip—Mystic Aquarium in Mystic

Week 7-August 9-13

A Whirlwind Tour of Asia

Join us as we tour places in Japan, China and India in an attempt to learn customs, songs and stories from these rich cultures.
